After returning from the University of Music in Würzburg, Germany, Surendranath Majumdar wanted to share sequential and progressive music education in Kolkata, India. Academy for Musical Excellence, AMEC, started operation from the Tollygunge campus in October 2010. AMEC offers one of the best music education services in Kolkata.
